Josi Flotron

Founder of The Flotron Method

Josi developed The Flotron Method™ as a map for transforming rope flow into a practice of embodiment, healing, and meditative awareness. Unlike traditional rope flow instruction—which is highly structured and performance-driven—her method recognizes that not all bodies move the same way. With expertise in hypermobility, fascia health, and biofeedback, she refined an approach that prioritizes adaptability, freedom, and intuitive movement from the start. In The Flotron Method™, feeling better in the body moment by moment surpasses any goal of unlocking new movements.

Every step of the journey matters

Her journey led her to uncover the Foundations of FreeFlow, a way of moving beyond repetitive drills into instinctive, body-led flow states that support nervous system regulation, creativity, and self-awareness. As she continued exploring, she discovered the power of heavy ropes, realizing they enhance movement efficiency, build resilience, and accelerate learning in ways lighter ropes cannot. Training with them gave her a body she describes as “being made of liquid steel” and a sense of cohesive strength she had never known before. This led to the development of GravityFlow™, a signature program of The Flotron Method™ that makes heavy ropes accessible to beginners, developing proprioception, balance, and fascial fluidity through intuitive movements that harness gravity and momentum for profound transformation.

Josi is a WeckMethod Rotational Movement Trainer, building upon the innovations of David Weck, the creator of rope flow. Today, she is one of the most respected heavy rope practitioners in the world, pioneering new ways to use rotational movement as a tool for physical transformation, mental clarity, and emotional balance. The Flotron Method™ is not about memorizing someone else’s patterns—it’s about discovering your own. Through her courses and teachings, she empowers others to use movement as a gateway to greater freedom, awareness, and connection to their deeper consciousness.
